Tender description

Durham County Council is seeking to have a panel of providers to support young people aged 16-17 years with high support needs and highly challenging complex behaviours. This provider panel is available in 2 lots: Lot 1: Single Occupancy Supported Living; Lot 2: Accommodation Based Support. The provider panel will be a flexible agreement where, at the sole discretion of the Council, it may open the panel to allow additional providers to be added to its membership. The Council may also open this agreement to include additional lots such as step down with multiple occupancy. Provision of supported accommodation arrangement to a young person, identified by the Council as requiring supported accommodation, as identified in their pathway plan; having full regard for the Children Act 1989 Guidance and Regulations, Volume 2: Care Planning, Placement and Case Review (March 2010) and Transitions to Adulthood Guidance (2010). The Council reserves the right to re-open the provider panel to allow any additional bidder(s) to apply to join the provider panel at a future date as and when required at the Council’s sole discretion provided that they fullymeet all the requirements of the invitation to tender and specification.
