Tender description
Revenue Jersey is the tax administration of the Island of Jersey. Goods and Services Tax (GST) is levied on a broad range of goods and services at a rate of 5%: there are limited exemptions. Businesses are obliged to register for GST when their turnover exceeds £300,000. GST is not currently levied on imported services. The Goods & Services Tax (Jersey) Law 2007 allows specified businesses – known as International Service Entities (ISE) – effectively to “opt out” of the GST system on payment of a fee to be listed as an ISE.
