Tender description

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform the market of Leicestershire County Council's intention to procure a contract for the supply, installation and maintenance of a 1MVA standby generator as further described under II.2.4). below. The Council anticipates to advertise this opportunity in OJEU under an open tender procedure. The contact notice is anticipated to be published at any point in the next 2 calendar months from the date of this PIN notice. The Council is currently finalising the tender documentation for this contract. Please note the date under II.3) is an estimate only and may change. This notice is not in itself a call for competition and it is not seeking to reduce the time period for the receipt of tenders. Leicestershire County Council will be shortly advertising a tender opportunity for the supply, installation, maintenance and servicing (including reactive repairs) of a 1 MVA standby generator. The purpose of the aforementioned generator is to provide the Council's Penn Lloyd building with a minimum of ninety continuous hours of operation in the event of power outage.
