Tender description

The Common Services Agency (more commonly known as National Services Scotland) (‘the Authority’) acting through its division National Procurement, is undertaking this procurement of Oral Nutritional Products (‘Products’) as outlined further below on behalf of National Health Service (Scotland) Grampian Health Board. (collectively hereafter referred to as ‘Participating Authorities’). For the provision and supply of adult oral nutritional products to the homes of adult patients (over 16 years old) for NHS Grampian Health Board. The home delivery provision will cover patients aged 16 years and over, registered with a GP within NHS Grampian and, receiving oral nutritional support products as assessed by a registered dietitian. Currently there are approximately 4 252 adult patients within the community in NHS Grampian. The annual value of the requirement is estimated at 1 060 916 GBP p.a. based on current GP10 prices and indicative usage. The supply of adult oral nutritional products to the homes of adult patients (over 16 years old) for NHS Grampian Health Board. The home delivery provision will cover patients aged 16 years and over, registered with a GP within NHS Grampian and, receiving oral nutritional support products as assessed by a registered dietitian. Currently there are approximately 4 252 adult patients within the community in NHS Grampian. The annual value of the requirement is estimated at 1 000 000 GBP p.a.
