Edenderry Inner Relief Road - Topographical Survey

Tender description

In connection, with proposals to develop two new link roads (total length of both link roads = 1.1km) and associated junction realignments within the north of Edenderry Town, Offaly County Council are seeking to carry out a topographical survey, for the planning design, land acquisition and detailed design stage of the Edenderry Inner Relief Road project. The total area covered by the proposed survey is approximately 16.8hA across 2.2km. This topographical survey is required to produce route selection options, proposed land take, preliminary design and will also be used in the detailed design of the scheme new structures, earthworks, drainage, pavement, accommodation works, fencing, utility diversions and other ancillary works, including hydrology modelling of the stream channels and floodplains and 3d geometric design, as well as the provision of survey control & the production of a 3-D representation of the area in the form of a String Digital Terrain Model (SDTM) and a Grid Digital Terrain Model (GDTM) and output of results in both digital and hardcopy formats.Tenders for the topographical survey are therefore invited by Offaly County Council from competent contractors to carry out the required works as per the attached Suitability Assessment of Works Contractor Submission and Tender Documents, which may be downloaded from this website. The Suitability Assessment of Works Contractor Submission, and Tenders in sealed envelopes as per the procedure outline in the attached ITT for the works endorsed “Topographical Survey - Edenderry Inner Relief Road” – Edenderry, Co., Offaly, will be received by the Director of Services, Roads and Transportation, Offaly County Council, Aras an Chontae, Charleville Road, Tullamore, Co., Offaly, on or before 12:00pm on the 17th of December 2019. Please note the successful contractor will be appointed PSCS for the works and will be responsible for all / any associated traffic management with the Topographical Survey works project.
