Consultancy Services for the preparation of a Core Strategy, Housing Need Demand Assessment and Housing Strategy for County Longford to cover the period from 2021-2027, which will both inform and be incorporated into the review and preparation of the upcoming Longford County Development Plan 2021-2027. National policy contained within the National Planning Framework: Ireland 2040 and regional policy contained in the Eastern and Midland Regional Assembly Regional Spatial and Economic Strategy 2019-2031 will have implications for the population projections and policies of the Longford County Development Plan. The preparation of the Core Strategy, Housing Need Demand Assessment and Housing Strategy 2021-2027 for the County must be capable of having regard to this. Due cognisance must therefore be afforded to any direction and guidance provided at regional and national level which relates to the Core Strategy, Housing Need Demand Assessment and Housing Strategy in the preparation of these strategies throughout the review period.
