BIG001-1085 Discovery Programme, Community Organisations and Micro Charities

Tender description

This requirement is to procure an organisation as a primary supplier who may form a consortium to undertake a programme of Discovery work. Discovery work is like action research and the services required are research, design, documentation, content creation and writing. This work will generate insights about community organisations, micro charities, associations and groups that make up a more informal layer of civil society activity, and to understand what role digital can have, if any, in helping them to thrive. The reasons why we are commissioning this work is because it will be used to inform the Strand 3 of the Digital Fund, and we don’t have the capacity internally to do this work ourselves. The deliverables for the work will be a research methodology and framework, insights and recommendations from the work, ongoing documentation and sharing of the insights more widely. These insights will inform what the Strand 3 of the Digital Fund should look like. The costs are estimated at £15K per geographical area for 4 sites (one in England, one in Wales, one on Northern Ireland, one in Scotland). Allocated budget is £60K excluding VAT.
