Tender description

Initial market engagement for the next generation consultant framework arrangement at the Port of Dover which is intended to cover a combination of: multi-disciplinary consultants, architects, building services/utilities engineers, structural/civil engineers, quantity surveyors and masterplanning consultants. The Port of Dover (PoD) has successfully implemented and utilised its current consultant framework since August 2016.The Port are now seeking to renew the framework agreement for the key professional services required across the entire Port estate. This initial PIN is solely issued to engage with the market and ascertain whether the current planned procurement route and framework structure is robust and will garner sufficient market interest. A combination of consultants under the following categories are currently anticipated to be covered by this procurement: — multi-disciplinary practices, — architects, — building services/utilities engineers, — civil/structural engineers, — quantity surveying services, — masterplanning consultant services. It is the intention to split the framework procurement into various lots in due course; this will be reflected in the later contract notice. The procurement strategy for some or all of the above are subject to change following the market engagement. An open day will be held on the 22.1.2020 to discuss the Port of Dover's plans and engage with the interested parties. Consultants should register their interest in attending this event via email to Procurement@doverport.co.uk — attendance is via pre-registration only and there will be no admittance without having done so. Failure to attend the open day or register interest in this pin will not preclude you from responding to the later contract notice on its publication.
