Tender description

Donegal County Council have procured 2 seperate LiDAR surveys to be carried out for the TEN- T Priority Route Improvement Project, Donegal. Survey 1 provides 'Lower' Resolution LiDAR and survey 2 provides 'Higher' Resolution LiDAR. The aim of the LiDAR Surveys is to obtain appropriate LiDAR data to enable Donegal County Council to undertake detailed archaeological assessments of the preferred route corridor. The aim of this contract is to procure an appropriate service provider to provide these archaeological assessments. Assessment no. 1 will assess the Lower Resolution LiDAR data and assessment no. 2 will assess the Higher Resolution LiDAR data.. The purpose, scope and specification for the 2 specifications of LiDAR data (to be provided) and 2 subsequent 'Archaeological LiDAR Assessments' are described in more detail in the Service Requirements document.
