Tender description

Video Production Services De Montfort University intends to award a contract (on the basis of a framework agreement) for up to four preferred suppliers who can provide video production services on the De Montfort University's campus and other locations as specified on a production-by-production basis some of which could be nationwide and overseas. The selected framework suppliers will work mainly with the University's Marketing and Communications directorate but may also be contracted by other faculties and directorates. Category One Promotional video communications for External Audiences. Examples include student recruitment; demonstration of research impact; philanthropic fund-raising; advertising of the University's conferences and other commercial activities. In this lot we would expect a Video Production company to offer a fuller managed service. This would require the management of the entire project and include full editing (including graphics and animation) in the delivery of the product. In particular it is expected that the Supplier would work collaboratively in the delivery of the end product The following are examples of Video communications content to be used to promote the University's programmes, activities and facilities to external audiences for purposes including: ? Student recruitment ? Demonstration of research impact ? Philanthropic fund-raising ? Advertising of the University's conferences and other commercial activities Category Two Video communications for Internal Audiences. Examples include senior leaders' videos; graduation ceremonies, staff rewards ceremony, culture change and change management initiatives etc. A number of mid-level activities would be required to support the delivery of our AV services. Examples of these would be: ? On Location Filming ? Promotional Video output Category Three A number of basic services would be required in this category to support the University Marketing and Communications team and internal service teams. The following are examples of Video communications content to be used to promote the University's programmes, activities and facilities to external audiences for purposes including: ? Pre-production advice and consultancy ? Footage capture ? Finishing off services ? Small edits, updates & Re-editing ? Transcription Services ? Motion graphics The contract will commence on 1st March 2020 for a period of four years to terminate 28th February 2024.
