Topographical survey of N72 from Killorglin Bridge to Anglont

Tender description

The N72 Killorglin to Anglont Road Improvement Scheme is located on the N72 National Secondary Killorglin to Killarney and in the town lands of Dromavally, Dunmaniheen and Anglont. The project commences at the roundabout adjacent to the Laune Bridge and extends for approximately 2.6km eastwards to the junction with the L11727 local road. The project comprises the rehabilitation of the existing pavement and the provision of a new 3.0m wide shared-use cycle/pedestrian facility on the north side of the road. The improved road will consist of 3.0m wide lanes with 0.5m wide hard strips in each direction. The project includes a national road junction, two no. local road junctions and numerous private accesses. The project will include site clearance, earthworks, drainage, pavement, fencing, signs and lining, safety barrier, accommodation works and other elements necessary for the successful construction and completion of a road project. The location, extent of survey is shown in Drawing SU0001 in Appendix A of the docs.
