Site Access Infrastructure at IDA Coolmore and Loughbeg Road Sites

Tender description

The proposed works comprise the provision of new formal entrances and all associated boundary treatments and phase 1 infrastructure to two IDA Ireland landholdings in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. The sites are located in Coolmore and Loughbeg Road areas of Ringaskiddy. The Coolmore landholding is approx 13 Ha, however the works area will be significantly less than this and will be restricted to the Southern boundary of the site. The outline works for the site are as follows: - New vehicle access (junction and spur road) - Road widening and markings - Traffic calming measures (where req'd) - New Public Lighting - New Boundary Walls, Gates and Natural Ditch for extent of road frontage - IDA signage and branding /Totem sign - Temporary stoned road and hardstand viewing area for potential IDA clients - Services connections (including spare ducting) to all public/private services – Water mains, Foul and Surface water sewer, ESB, Telecoms and Fibre. The Loughbeg Road landholding is approx 27 Ha, however the works area will be significantly less than this and will be restricted to the Western boundary of the site. The outline works for the site are as follows: - New vehicle access (junction/ roundabout and spur road) - Road widening and markings - Traffic calming measures (where req'd) - New Public Lighting - New Boundary Walls, Gates and Natural Ditch for extent of road frontage - IDA signage and branding /Totem sign - Temporary stoned road and hardstand viewing area for potential IDA clients - Services connections (including spare ducting) to all public/private services – Water mains, Foul and Surface water sewer, ESB, Telecoms and Fibre. Please note: a development potential study for the Loughbeg Road site is currently underway. The outcome of this study will determine if works on this site will progress as part of the future tender.
