Efficiency East Midlands Ltd (EEM) is a procurement consortium which establishes and manages a range of framework agreements. Our members include organisations providing services to the whole public sector including social housing providers, local authorities, blue light services and education and health related organisations. EEM wishes to procure and enter into a framework with multiple contractors, for the provision of roofing services which covers roofing replacements, new roofing requirements, roofing repairs and general works associated with these requirements, in order to support the maintenance of the housing stock, offices and other buildings of the Member Contracting Authorities. This is a prior information notice, to notify interested organisations of an up and coming tender opportunity. Our members include organisations providing services to the whole public sector including social housing providers, local authorities, blue light services and education and health related organisations. The EEM Membership combined property stock is in excess of 2 600 000 properties typically,consisting of a mixture of domestic housing stock, bungalows blocks of flats, and sheltered housing schemes as well as garages, communal buildings, corporate buildings, hospitals, student accommodation, universities and depots. EEM is conducting this tender exercise on behalf of its contracting authorities to establish a framework agreement for roofing services to cover requirements in both domestic and commercial locations. The successful contractors will be suitably qualified and have a wealth of experience to undertake the works required. The successful contractors will be expected to provide contracting authorities with the works required to support the maintenance of their property types including, but not limited to, domestic housing stock, high rise and low rise flats, office accommodation, hospitals, student accommodation and schools. The framework is being procured by EEM on behalf of its members and the other organisations described as being authorised users. Further details regarding the authorised users of this framework can be found in the ITT documents when they are released. The framework will be split into core work stream lots which will be confirmed within the tender documents and contract notice but is likely to be: — Lot 1: planned works, — Lot 2: planned works and repairs. The framework will then be further split into geographical sub lots to meet the needs of our wide spread membership locations.
