Replacement of Gym Equipment at Killarney Sports & Leisure Centre

Scope This phase of the modernisation of the gymnasium will comprise the provision of 6 treadmills, 2 assault treadmills, 2 assault / air bikes, an Invictus Active Wheelchair Treadmill, an indoor model BerkelBike and 30 Keiser spin bikes all in accordance the specifications below. Killarney Sports & Leisure Centre will drawdown the equipment over the contract period as funding becomes available. It is envisaged that the initial drawdown of equipment under the contract with the successful supplier will comprise of 6 treadmills, 2 assault treadmills, 2 assault / air bikes, an Invictus Active Wheelchair Treadmill and an indoor model BerkelBike subject to available funding. Suppliers are to provide technical data sheets for all equipment demonstrating that it meets the minimum requirements. Maintenance and Warranty All equipment supplied and installed must come complete with a 5-year warranty. Suppliers will be required to maintain the equipment for the warranty period. Suppliers are to include in their tender for maintenance during the warranty period. The supplier will responsible for the provision of all consumables required by the equipment during the warranty period and shall include for these in the annual maintenance cost. Maintenance will be paid annually on completion of the maintenance tasks during the warranty period, the maintenance and warranty cost will form part of the evaluation process. Suppliers shall provide a maintenance plan for the equipment. Where equipment becomes defective during the warranty period it shall be replaced by the supplier at his own cost.
