Tender description

Provision of food waste treatment services. Peterborough City Council (PCC) invites tenders from suitably experienced organisations who can demonstrate knowledge, skill and innovation in the provision of food waste treatment services. The Council’s food waste is collected in Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCV’s) with a separate food waste pod and material is delivered to the designated transfer facility located at Nursery Lane Waste Transfer Facility. The successful supplier will be responsible for for the collection and transportation of the food waste from the designated transfer facility provided by the Council, located in Nursery Lane to the Contractor’s treatment facility and the treatment of the food waste in accordance with the Council’s Specification.
