Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) invites applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the pre-qualification process for the proposed tender for the static line side traction gel applicators. IE intend to enter into a 3-year fixed price agreement with the option to extend for up to 2 additional years. Delivery is to Portlaoise, Co. Laois A pre-qualification questionnaire is attached to this notice and must be fully completed and submitted for review and evaluation against the stated evaluation criteria. Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) invites applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the pre-qualification process for the proposed tender for the static line side traction gel applicators. The units required must — be DC capable (supplied with solar panels), — have traction gel application via a peristaltic pumping device, — have a minimum reservoir of 70 litres, — be suitable for mounting on flatbottom 54 kg, 60 kg, UIC33 and bullhead rails, without the requirement for rail drilling, — be secure, lockable, vandal proof and weatherproof, — have documented approval for use with lawrence U5 traction gel or alleviate traction gel. The respondent must provide confirmation that the above minimum specification can be met and details of the particular units proposed must also be supplied (including dimensional details). The respondent must also provide details of previous supply experience (to an EU Rail Operating Authority) of units which conform to the minimum specification. An ‘Approval for Use’ certificate must be included, for at least one European high speed rail network (>200 kmph), detailing the type of unit approved, the date of approval and any other supporting documentation.
