Provision of Porterage Services to Royal Courts of Justice Group (RCJG)

Tender description

The porterage service on-site at the Royal Courts of Justice Group (RCJG) is considered a critical service to ensure the efficient operation of the RCJG facilities. There are many unique requirements relating to the size and complexity of the main RCJ buildings, for example moving large items requires a professional moves operative (certain floors within the RCJ have more than 13 level changes on a single floor). The services include the movement of parcels, packages and other goods required by operations staff, the Judiciary and a variety of service providers around all court buildings. It is anticipated the service commencement will begin on 1.4.2020, with an initial contract of five (5) years, with the option for the authority to extend for up to four (4) further years.
