Please note that we have taken the decision not to proceed with this procurement and will therefore not be awarding a contract to any bidder for the following reasons: Following the recent insourcing of Southern Water’s Managed IT Services from Fujitsu and Capita (September 2019), a greater understanding of the complexity and state of our ERP estate is emerging. This has resulted in a number of IT business decisions: (i) to invest in addressing issues with Southern Water’s current ERP platform, with a view to replacing this platform in the medium term, which requires pausing or, in some cases, completely stopping projects which require complex integration with the existing ERP platform; (ii) to possibly proceed with an evolving strategic initiative to develop and deploy new technology to manage enterprise and operational assets, which technology may include the capability to manage the procurement of goods and services for direct spend required to maintain the company assets.
