Tender description

This prior information notice (PIN) is to advise that HTE Intends to procure for a multi-supplier agreement for CPAP, BiPAP, NIV, sleep therapy devices and associated products for adults, paeds and neonates. Suppliers who respond will be attend a supplier day on 8.1.2020/14.1.2020. The purpose of the supplier day is: 1) To determine the potential value of this procurement; 2) To demonstrate the range of products suppliers have which falls within the remit of this procurement; 3) To capture details of the latest innovations that may have arisen to improve patient care; 4) To assist in the preparation of the specification. Due to venue constraints suppliers are advised that only a maximum number of 8 suppliers will be invited to the supplier day and selection will be based on the first 8 applicants received. Suppliers invited will provide a 30 minute presentation followed by 30 minutes of questions.The closing date for applicants is 5 p.m. 20.12.2019. This is not a call for competition. HTE are seeking to establish a new framework agreement for the provision of CPAP, BiPAP, NIV, sleep therapy devices and associated products for adults, paediatrics and neonates. The scope will include positive airway pressure treatment devices which pump air into the lungs to prevent episodes of collapsed airways which obstructs breathing with people with sleep apnoea or other respiratory, cardiopulmonary or neuromuscular disorders, that are used in either a Public or Private Healthcare Environment, Private Enterprises, or within the Patient Home Environment. This will include (but is not limited to) to the following items: — CPAP, BiPAP, NIV and sleep therapy devices for use at the patients home, public/private healthcare environments or in private enterprises, and — CPAP, BiPAP, NIV and sleep therapy devices suitable for travel. HTE are seeking to establish a new framework agreement for the provision of CPAP, BiPAP, NIV and sleep therapy devices accessories and associated products for adults, paediatrics and neonates. The scope will include accessories and associated products that will aid the use of positive airway pressure treatment devices which pump air into the lungs to prevent episodes of collapsed airways which obstructs breathing with people with sleep apnoea or other respiratory, cardiopulmonary or neuromuscular disorders, that are used in either a public or private healthcare environment, private enterprises, or within the patient home environment. This will include (but is not limited to) to the following items: — humidification devices for use at the home, public/private healthcare environments or in private enterprises, — face masks, — filters, — tubing, and — head gear, etc.
