Tender description

Warwick District Council (WDC) is committed to displaying Christmas lights in Leamington Spa during the seasonal period, usually from November until January. Therefore WDC, in conjunction with BID Leamington and Leamington Town Council will be issuing a tender this year to select a supplier to erect Christmas illuminations in the Leamington Spa town centre. The contract will require the provision of: some/all illuminations, infrastructure, testing (illuminations, timers, and anchor bolts), installation, maintenance, removal and storage of the illuminations. The duration of this contract will be 4 years with an option to extend for a further 12 months. Tenders are invited for the provision of seasonal illuminations throughout Leamington Spa town centre, including: providing and maintaining the illuminations; maintaining the associated infrastructure (including testing of catenary cables and hanging fittings, yearly anchor bolts testing); installation and testing of the illuminations; removal and storage of the illuminations. The contract is expected to commence on 14.6.2019. The contract shall be for 4 years with the option to extend for up to a further 12 months, subject to funding confirmation and satisfactory performance of the provider; and at the agreement of all parties.
