Tender description

The University seeks to acquire a scale-up nanofibre electrospinning platform with environmentally controlled spinning chamber, collection modules and fibre metrology system enabling biomedical device fabrication from polymeric materials, polymer matrix composite materials, and ceramic precursor materials. The system will be used for both academic research and industrial research and development. The instrument will be housed in the Henry Royce Institute. This equipment will provide a key technology platform that will underpin a core range of research programs across the University, as well as current research funded projects, and will provide an important part to the research focus of the Henry Royce Institute (HRI) on biomedical devices.
