Tender description

Polymer additive manufacturing. The contracting authority is seeking notes of interest for a potential tender exercise to award a supplier who will provide a polymer additive manufacturing. Key requirements: 1) The machine (s) must be capable of producing high strength, high integrity components up to 1 m in size; 2) The machine (s) must be capable of producing designs with multiple colours and textures (in the same build) up to 300 mm in size; 3) Capable of printing thermoplastics — ABS, PLA, high strength/ temp polymers; 4) Capable of printing composite materials eg. Carbon fibre, nylon; 5) Capable of producing components which meet aerospace standards.
