Tender description
The Council wishes to establish a framework agreement for the benefit of itself and available to use by other public bodies, for the provision of transportation and development professional services. The framework agreement will be awarded by 3 lots as follows: Lot 1: Specialist; Lot 2a: Multi-disciplinary services for highways and infrastructure; Lot 2b: Multi-disciplinary services for planning and development; Lot 3a: Project resourcing for highways and infrastructure; Lot 3b: Project resourcing for planning and development. The framework will last for 4 years, with no option to extend. There is no limit (within reason) to the duration of individual orders awarded under the framework agreement. This lot is for the individual disciplines. A maximum of 3 suppliers will be appointed to cover each discipline under each service category. This lot is for schemes primarily focused on highways and infrastructure where the requirement covers more than one of the categories in Lot 1. A maximum of 3 service providers will be appointed for this lot. This lot is for schemes with a planning and development focus where the requirement covers more than one of the categories in Lot 1. A maximum of 3 service providers will be appointed for this lot. This category is for project resourcing on highways and infrastructure. A maximum of up to 10 suppliers will be appointed. This will enable organisations with key specialisms to be appointed to provide the Council additional resource under secondment/consultancy when required. At the Public Sector bodies awarding client(s) discretion, if suppliers under this lot cannot provide skilled resource within required timescales, the Public Sector bodies may use other suppliers within the specialist or multi-disciplinary lots to provide the requirement.
