Tender description

Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough Councils wish to commission a provider/providers to offer an aligned domestic abuse service. The new service will include: — IDVA provision to support high and very high-risk victims of domestic violence and abuse aged 16 years and over. High and very high-risk is to be determined by use of the DASH risk assessment scoring matrix, also in use for MARAC referrals, alongside professional judgement where necessary, and — a hospital-based IDVA service supporting low and medium-risk victims who present to Bedford hospital or are identified by health professionals in the course of hospital treatment (1 year only), and — a community-based perpetrator service aimed at promoting well-being through enabling people to have healthy relationships in families, between individuals and in the community.
