Tender description

The Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) are seeking suppliers to evaluate the different approaches for improving UK organic trade statistics. The researcher will be required to examine and review the various approaches to improving the collection of organic trade statistics in a UK context, e.g. via surveys of organic importers/exporters, approaching customs officials/using existing trade data to extract organic data, and/or incorporating a unique identifier code into international trade statistics. The second half of the project will involve implementing the proposed method to collect data.
