Tender description

The Authority is looking for a sole supplier who is capable of providing this service for a period of up to 10 years. A primary period of 4 years with 2 yearly extensions will provide the structure of the contract. Performance of the contract according to the KPI’s set is of paramount importance and as a consequence rights to terminate and liquidated damages will be set against this. Whilst recovery of debt is important to the Authority the manner in which this is done by the supplier is crucial from a reputational aspect and all quality questions will focus on this along with the added value of services provided. The estimated value / potential revenue to the Enforcement Agency is £359,825 pa. Giving a four year potential value of £1,439,300 (estimated) and a ten year potential value of £3,598,250 The estimated value /potential revenue to the Council is £175,000 pa. Giving a four year value of £700,000 and a ten year potential value of £1,750,000 Therefore the total value of the contract to both parties is £5,348,250 Given the estimated potential value of the contract is subject to three variables – the maximum potential value has been set at £8,000,000 The initial contract term will be for 48 months with an option to extend for a further 72 months (3 periods of 24 months) for a potential total contract term of 10 years as stated in the ITT documents.
