Tender description

Trondheim municipality, hereafter called the contracting authority, invites tenderers to an open tender contest for a contract for the purchase and delivery of alkaline filter material for VIVA. A further description of the assignment is in Annex 1 Requirement Specifications and Award Criteria. VIVA supplies Trondheim and Malvik municipalities with drinking water The water treatment includes downstream filtering in alkaline filters, subsequent to CO2 dosing, as well as disinfection with UV and chlorination and possibly finishing adjustment of pH with lye The plant is dimensioned for a maximum hydraulic load of 1 400 l/seconds (5 000 m3­­­/time). CO2 is dosed in a partial flow of the raw water which is added in the raw water channel to the filters. The framework agreement includes delivery of alkaline filter material, including transport to VIVA for re-filling of filter material to the plant.
