Supply and Installation of Bike Lockers

Tender description

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) invites applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the pre-qualification process for the supply, delivery and installation of bike lockers. The initial requirement is to supply and install 100 lockers. The anticipated duration of this contract is 3 years, there may be subsequent demand additional to the initial requirement of 100 lockers. If that scenario arises the Irish Rail reserves the right to rely on this procurement process for the purchase of any subsequent requirements. It is anticipated that this initial requirement for lockers will be installed in sets of 5 or 10 at commuter stations in the Greater Dublin Area including the North Kildare Area. There may be instances where this is not the case and so lockers must have the capability of being stand-alone units. The specific stations will be selected and advised prior to order placement. They will be located in stations within a distance of 25 kilometers from central Dublin. It is expected that the supplier will secure the lockers in a safe manner to the ground on installation. Suitable surfaces will be prepared by Iarnród Éireann to which lockers can be secured.
