Supported lodgings provides a bridge between care and independence allowing young people to make their own decisions while maintaining supportive adults around them. The service provider must be able to provide 8 individual supported lodgings placements to Children Looked After (CLA) aged 16 to 21 who are leaving or have left care, are mothers with a baby, young offenders and a limited number of placements for young people of this age group who are a Child In Need (CIN). The contract is due to commence on 1.4.2020. Supporting children and young people to develop the skills needed to maintain their own tenancies, — to provide eight individual supported lodgings placements to Children Looked After (CLA).
