Radio, Music and Event Photography

Tender description

The BBC wishes to commission a supplier to provide a 12 month first class photography service to cover BBC Sounds, all the BBC’s network radio stations, radio related TV and other platforms output. Also, live music events photography and podcast photography. The work will be made up of four types of photo session: 1. Tier 1: Music sessions outside of the BBC’s W1 Campus but within the M25. 2. Tier 2: Shorter sessions onsite at the BBC’s W1 Campus including photographic coverage of live sessions for Radio 1 and Radio and the TV shows’ presenters and contributors. 3. Live music event sessions. 4. Podcast photography sessions. The maximum budget available for this brief is between £170,000 and £200,000 for the first year only. The Agreement will have a term of 12 (twelve) months commencing on 1st April 2020 and ending on 31st March 2021. At the BBC’s discretion this contract may be extended up to a maximum of a further 24 months. The BBC is not obligated to extend the contract and has absolute discretion whether this is required. Where this is not executed, any additional phases of work will be subject to a further tendering process.
