Provision of Leadership Development Centres (NFCC Leadership Framework)

Tender description

The GMCA are seeking to introduce the National Fire Chiefs Councils (NFCC) Leadership Framework, which will require significant and targeted investment in leaders at all levels, increasing capability and developing self-awareness. To achieve this objective we are planning to hold development centres, with an emphasis on supporting individuals by helping them to understand how their role can contribute to the Services Strategic agenda, as well as providing them with the necessary tools and techniques to be successful leaders. In addition to this, the Service is keen to understand the existing management capabilities, which in turn will inform future learning and development requirements and succession planning. Our ambition is to deliver the development centres over a relatively short period, ideally by the end of January 2020 and certainly before the end of the financial year. This challenging timeframe coupled with limited internal resource, means that we will need to secure external resource and we are therefore seeking a trusted partner to work with us. In accordance with the GMCA Constitution and Procurement Rules, this opportunity is being conducted under our RFQ rules and as such is not an open competition, it will be open to the invited list of selected suppliers only.
