The pre-operative skin preparation frameworks consists of the following product areas. — Lot1: Pre-Operative Razors, — Lot 2: Surgical Skin Marker Pens, — Lot 3: Pre-Operative Scrub Brushes, — Lot 4: Fixed Head/Pivoting Surgical Clippers. Pre-operative razors are a double edge manual safety disposable razor which is non-sterile, products are made of strong plastic and are very robust in their construction. Each razor is single use only and can be disposed of in a clinical sharp’s container. Surgical skin marker pens are used where the surgical site is marked with an appropriate non-removal permanent marker system that can’t be removed during the lotion application by the surgical team. Products are ergonomically designed as a pen-like device. Pre-operative scrub brushes are used in a systematic method of washing of the hands and forearms and scrubbing of fingernails using specially developed techniques and the most effective antibacterial cleansing agent available in order to render the hands. The surgical clippers should be able to cut hair close to the patient’s skin whilst maintaining the skin’s integrity. This lot is to include the surgical hair clipper unit, charger unit and replacement heads and blades.
