Tender description

The Deal 2030 Care and support ethical framework will deliver a transformed model of ethical, asset-based care and support, meeting the needs and aspirations of people to live fulfilled lives in their own home avoiding inappropriate admissions to hospital and residential care. This procurement adheres to Chapter 3 of Part 2 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (also known as the ‘light touch’ regime). The process adopted uses the primary methodology of an open tender, but the Council reserves the right to make such adjustments as are required to facilitate the process. The Council will ensure that the tender process is and will remain, fair and transparent. It is intended that services will be obtained from suppliers appointed to the framework agreement on an ‘as and when required’ basis. No guarantee can be given as to the quantities of services required. By appointing to the framework, the Council/Wigan Borough Clinical Commissioning Group does not guarantee any volume or specific value of work. The Council/Wigan Borough Clinical Commissioning Group are not bound to the use of the framework for all requirements and reserves the right to tender separately or use other frameworks when necessary.
