Tender description

Kent County Council's Youth Justice Service is seeking a qualified speech, language and communication therapy provider to deliver a new and sustainable speech and language therapy service for both young people and staff within the criminal justice system, to build an approach to identifying speech language and communication difficulties, and identifying/performing the best course of action to address these. The overall vision of the service is to empower the workforce to lead on the identification of SLCN needs and identify the most appropriate response in a way that can be enshrined throughout ongoing interactions with that young offender both within and outside of the Youth Justice service. We wish to invite interested providers to comment on our draft specification at one of the following engagement events, which will be held on a one to one basis. We propose to hold these via Skype; however, if providers prefer, they can attend a face to face meeting in Maidstone. 27th November 1.30 p.m. — 3 p.m. 2nd December 11.30 a.m. — 1 p.m. 10th December 2 pm – 3.30 pm Additional events/adjusted timings will be considered if necessary.
