The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea seeks to appoint 2 service providers for the grounds maintenance services to Council housing estates and playground equipment inspections: — Lot 1: Contract 1, is for works predominately in the North of the Borough, — Lot 2: Contract 2, is predominately in the South of the Borough. Scope of services The grounds maintenance services will comprise of the upkeep and clearance of the landscaped areas of the estates within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, comprising: — grassed areas, — shrubs/rose beds/flower beds, — trees – up to 3,0 m, — hedges, — hard surfaces, — safety surfaces, — play areas — inspections, — planters – including hanging baskets, — signs and sign posts, — winter preparations, — gritting pathways, — bins, — the inspection and identification of necessary works to playgrounds on the estates.
