Tender description

This invitation to tender (‘ITT’) has been issued by The Schools Buying Hub South West (SBHSW) as agent of Dartmoor Multi Academy (‘the Trust’). You are invited by the Trust to tender for the provision of grounds maintenance services in accordance with this ITT. The proposed contract is to run for 3 years, with 2 optional extension years, and will involve the routine horticultural and other related maintenance of landscape areas including lawns, beds, hedges, trees, hard surfaces, and sports areas including natural pitches, high quality grass and tree surveys. The Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust includes 16 schools – 3 secondary schools and 13 primary schools — with over 5 000 pupils and 750 adults. A further primary school is set to join the Trust in January 2020. The schools are located across West Devon. Other maintenance work of a similar nature, including some landscaping, may be ordered as required and such work will be paid for in addition to the contract price. The Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust was created in January 2018. It includes 16 schools – 3 secondary schools and 13 primary schools — with over 5000 pupils and 750 adults. A further primary school is set to join the Trust in January 2020. This is an inspiring Trust to be involved with. The schools are located across West Devon 1 St James’ Church of England Primary School and Chagford Church of England Primary are new school builds with new grounds.
