Brief Description of Requirement The aim of the tender exercise is to obtain expertise on sensor metadata standards and sensor data management to develop an improved sensor metadata model that can be used to deliver data from a number of CEH sensor networks in such a way that data is readily comparable across networks and can be produced using the existing set of technologies used to manage these networks.In addition the work will provide CEH with information and direction on future development of these systems, particularly in relation to data storage in the context of the need to store data at increasingly high temporal resolutions, and to analyse and deliver this data in near-real-time. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.
