Tender description
NHS Supply Chain seeks to establish a comprehensive, non-exclusive, framework agreement for the supply to the NHS supply chain customer base via the E-Direct/Direct Route of Liquid-Based Cytology Systems and High-Risk Human Papillomavirus Testing Systems for Cervical Cancer Screening. NHS supply chain may (but shall not be required to) purchase the goods subject to the framework agreement using any of the following methods: — reagent rental, — capital purchases, — reagents only (with or without commitment), — equipment only (with or without commitment), including short term extensions, — managed services. Contracts may be awarded (subject to meeting the appropriate criteria as specified within the ITT Documentation) either via direct award or via further competition. Rental and capital pricing including equipment, products, reagents and services required for cervical cancer screening — liquid-based cytology (LBC) The framework agreement will have an initial term of 24 months with an option to extend incrementally 12 months at a time, up to a total period of 48 months. Value excluding VAT: between 290 000 and 574 000 GBP by the end of Year 2 the total value of the anticipated contracts (with a maximum award of 7 years) awarded under the resulting framework agreement are estimated to be in the region 1 020 000 and 2 040 000. Rental and capital pricing including equipment, products, reagents and services required for cervical cancer screening — high-risk HPV testing systems (HPV). This is an estimate only as precise quantities of likely purchases are unknown. Value excluding VAT: between 1 440 000 and 2 875 000 GBP by the end of Year 2 and the total value of the anticipated contracts (with a maximum award of 7 years) awarded under the resulting framework agreement are estimated to be in the region 5 100 000 and 10 195 000. Rental and capital pricing including equipment, products, reagents and services required for cervical cancer screening — high-risk HPV testing and liquid-based cytology (combined). This is an estimate only as precise quantities of likely purchases are unknown. Value excluding VAT: between 2 875 000 and 5 750 000 GBP by the end of Year 2 and the total value of the anticipated contracts (with a maximum award of 7 years) awarded under the resulting framework agreement are estimated to be in the region of 10 195 000 and 20 340 000. For the provision of a managed services contract for liquid-based cytology (LBC) to be supplied as a primary supplier, either via a primary contractor or direct to a trust. Value excluding VAT: between 9 770 000 and 19 540 000 GBP by the end of Year 2 and the total value of the anticipated contracts (with a maximum award of 7 years) awarded under the resulting framework agreement are estimated to be in the region of 34 660 000 and 70 000 000 by Year 7. For the provision of a managed service contract for primary high-risk HPV testing systems and cytology-based triage to be supplied as a primary contractor managing 3rd party suppliers. This is an estimate only as precise quantities of likely purchases are unknown.
