South East Cornwall Multi Academy Regional Trust - Tender for Cleaning Services

Tender description

The successful Supplier will be required to provide cleaning services for the South East Cornwall Multi Academy Regional Trust (SMART) (the Client) at the following schools: Secondary schools: - Liskeard School and Community College, - Saltash.net Community School. Primary schools: - Dobwalls Community Primary School, - Trewidland Community Primary School. The contract will be awarded as one lot, encompassing all of the SMART schools. The contract will commence on 1.9.2019 for a period of 3 years, with a possible extension of 2 years by mutual consent and on the same terms and conditions as the original contract. Please note the contracted-out schools might start earlier than September; suppliers will be notified if this is the case. The client is seeking a suitably experienced supplier with current experience of working within the education market place, ideally with a strong operational base within the South West of England, thus allowing for both adequate contract support and operational flexibility. The current turnover in respect of the above schools is approximately 416 000 GBP per annum. Please note that some of the current staff are in the Local Government Pension Scheme; actuary reports will be provided and the successful Supplier will need to sign an ABS agreement and pay for all associated costs.
