Tender description

The purpose of this PIN is for the Council to assess what options are available in the current marketplace to meet its requirements both now and for the future. Requirement: Replacement system for the administration of Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, Business Rates, Council Tax, Debt Management, Discretionary Housing Payments (DHP). The current contract for the provision of an IT system for the administration of Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, Council Tax, Business Rates and Debt management is due to expire and the Council requires a procurement exercise for the supply of these services. The Council is looking for a system that encompasses all up to date technology, and is able to adapt to future technological advances to support the efficiencies and effectiveness a modern system allows for. The Council is interested to see what the market place can offer in terms of supporting its business ambitions and priorities for customer focused services that are quick and easy to access, as well as being cost effective. The purpose of this PIN is to offer suppliers the opportunity to provide a demonstration as to how they can provide the services required by Oxford City Council. Demonstrations will be arranged as soon as reasonably practicable for both parties upon contact from an interested supplier. Demonstration requests and requests for further information in relation to this PIN must be received by 12 noon on 13.12.2019 using the details listed on the PIN.
