Who Speclialist Work With This requirement involves leading a team of Ofsted analysts, statisticians and data scientists to analyse datasets relating to children's social care. The analysis produced will be used by policy and operations colleagues to inform how Ofsted inspects Local Authorities' Children's Services and Social Care Providers. What Specialists Work On This work involves producing analysis of child level data on Children in Need and Children Looked After that supports Ofsted's inspections of both Local Authority Children's Services and Children's Social Care Providers. It will inform Social Care policy and operations colleagues about how the performance of Local Authority's and providers affects children. Where the Work Takes Place 2 Rivergate Temple Quay Bristol, BS1 6EH Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements The requirement will be required to work on site at our Bristol office. No expenses will be paid for working from this location. Work Location 2 Rivergate Temple Quay Bristol, BS1 6EH Security Clearance A current DBS check is required. Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience Strong data analysis skills, particularly relating to analysis of larger datasets (with millions of observations) Excellent collaborative skills: being able to deliver work through others Experience of leading a research/analysis team Strong communication skills with the ability to formulate and present conclusions to colleagues from a range of backgrounds. A current DBS check is required. Nice to Haves Experience of working and delivering analysis in an agile team Experience of delivering analysis using R and Excel Knowledge of England's education sector.
