Tidal Stream Industry EnerGisEr PRoject (TIGER) is a €46m, 4-year, Interreg Funded tidal stream energy project to introduce new tidal energy capacity into the UK/FR Channel region, develop a UK/FR supply chain cluster and collect cost reduction data to validate tidal stream as part of mixed renewables energy system. Figure 1 below shows the ORE Catapult TIGER project team. The Regional Supply Chain Coordinator will report into the TIGER Technical Manager who is based at the Catpult’s office in Hayle, Cornwall. The Regional Supply Chain Coordinator will be expected to attend planning and reporting meetings at the Hayle office, on a frequency to be agreed with the Technical Manager but to be assumed to average twice a month. The purpose of the Regional Supply Chain Co-ordinator role is to help the ORE Catapult rapidly identify and engage with local authority organisations, local policy makers and supply chain clusters across the UK Interreg Channel region, with the aim of assisting TIGER achieve its target WP T2 .Outputs and deliverables where possible.
