Tender description

A key outcome for all young people leaving care is that they are provided with the support they need to make a successful transition to adulthood and move towards more independent living. Bridgend Council are commissioning a range of supported accommodation and semi-independent options (step down accommodation) to offer young people the opportunity to live more independently whilst still having staff and young people around. The aim of the service is to develop young people’s independent living skills and work towards their goals in education, training, employment and other areas of their life. Allowing young people the chance to have more than 1 opportunity to succeed. Bridgend Council are looking to appoint 2 providers to deliver supported and step down accommodation. This service does not relate to requiring registration under the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016.
