In advance of publishing a tender for transportation of deceased persons, the supplier development programme are offering training on PCS-Tender and the European Single Procurement Document (ESPD): Training events will be held on the following dates and venues 10.12.2019 Police Scotland Divisional HQ Inverness 3.30-6 p.m. 14.1.2020 Police Scotland Dalmarnock, Glasgow 4.15-6.45 p.m. 22.1.2020 Police Scotland Barrack St, Perth 3.30-6 p.m. You will find the events listed here: https://www.sdpscotland.co.uk/events-courses/ There are a range of circumstances where the SPA and COPFS are required to transport deceased persons when a death occurs in the community; mainly Police Reportable Deaths and unexplained Medical Deaths where the Procurator fiscal instructs the police to carry out an investigation into the circumstances of a death.
