The Council is committed to supporting staff through change and to enable them to develop to their full potential, We wish therefore to procure a self-service ‘careers and staff development’ portal. The portal should allow staff to take responsibility for their own learning and career development at the same time provide targeted support for staff who need to find a new role. The portal will need to be engaging, easy to access and have up to date content, which is regularly refreshed. The portal should also support a range of audiences such; Careers development – all staff Outplacement for those leaving the organisation following redundancy or fixed term contracts Managers and leaders Apprenticeships New starters
