City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council acting as lead on behalf of the ‘Yorkshire Authorities Survey Group’ is inviting bids from a number of organisations who might be able to provide Services that meet the needs of the group for ‘Highways Technical Inspections and Testing Services’. This tender will provide Councils in West and South Yorkshire with a contract of organisations that can provide competitive rates and services for a range of highway type inspection, and testing services. Please see documents on the councils e tendering website YORtender (www.yortender.co.uk) under reference DN446807 for full details of the requirement. — carry out annual scanner surveys, — supply survey data in HMDIF format (separately for each road for those Councils that require the HMDIF files in this format), — supply survey data in HMDIF format (separately for each road and cross sectional position for those Councils that require THE HMDIF files in this format), — scanner survey data must be located using GPS, — video surveys may be required, — PI reports may be required – for principal roads (for those Councils that require this PI report), — PI reports may be required – for non principal classified roads (for those Councils that require this PI report). — carry out annual scrim surveys, — supply survey data in HMDIF format, — scrim survey data must be located using GPS, — a forward facing video may be required at the time of the scrim survey, — investigatory levels provided by the local Councils, to be included in the scrim data HMDIF. — carry out annual CVI surveys, — supply survey data in HMDIF format, — CVI survey data to be matched to Councils provided data. — carry out annual griptester surveys, — supply survey data in HMDIF format, — griptester survey data to be matched to Council provided data. — carry out annual FNS (Enhanced Option 3) surveys, — supply survey data in HMDIF format, — FNS footway survey data to be matched to Council provided data. — carry out annual FAS surveys, — supply survey data in HMDIF format, — FAS footway survey data to be matched to Council provided data. — carry out annual core sampling, — core extraction (min 100 mm diameter cores) to include all bound material, — determine construction, material type and condition, — reinstatement of core. — carry out annual DFS (Doncaster Footway) survey, — supply survey data in HMDIF format, — DFS (Doncaster Footway) Survey data to be matched to Council provided data. — carry out annual cns surveys, — supply survey data in HMDIF format, — CNS footway survey data to be matched to Council provided data.
