All tender information MUST be submitted through the CCS eSourcing Portal. The STRB would like to collect survey evidence directly from teachers to complement the wider evidence it receives. It has designed a set of questions that it would like to be included in a survey of teachers in England (and Wales). It requires that the survey gains responses from at least 1000 teachers in a sample that is representative of the wider school workforce profile in England (and Wales). This means the survey should include teachers of all levels of seniority, coverage across the whole of England, a range of different school types (e.g. acadamies / non-academies) and be reflective of the percentage of schools eligible for free school meals. The survey responses should be able to be broken down by key variables, for example phase of school (primary / secondary) and seniority of teacher (senior leader / classroom teacher). The data should also be linked to wider school characteristics to give background demographics of the respondants, for example including school type, region, free school meals eligibility of their school and gender. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.
