N70, N72 and N86 Archaeological Consultancy Services Contract Stage (i)-(iv)

Tender description

Kerry County Council requires Archaeological Consultancy Services to assess and mitigate the archaeological impacts of construction of the N70 Brackaharagh, N72 Stagmount Bends and N86 Ballynasare Lower to Annascaul & Doonore North to Ballygarret Road Improvement Schemes. The archaeological services required are to be delivered on-site and off-site by the consultant (including their sub-contractors) and include the submission of quality assured reports and archives in accordance with the Services Requirements and to the satisfaction of the relevant statutory authorities. The consultant or its nominee will be appointed as project supervisor for construction stage (PSCS) for each project under the Safety, Health and Welfare (Construction) Regulations 2013. The Consultancy Services are to be supplied under a single contract and are to be performed in four main stages as follows: Stage (i) Pre-excavation Services; Stage (ii) Archaeological Excavation and Post-excavation Assessment; Stage (iii) Post-excavation and Dissemination; Stage (iv) Archaeological Monitoring of Construction Works;
