Maintenance of Gas Boilers

Tender description

The objective of this Service Contract is to ensure the reliability and operation of the various items of equipment by introducing a system of planned preventative maintenance. The contractor shall provide the University with a service which includes the service, inspection and maintenance of all the equipment listed out in specification of this contract. The initial duration of the contract shall be for two years with the provision for extensions to the contract. The equipment to be serviced includes gas boilers, gas fired water heaters, gas radiant tube heaters etc. at all four University campuses. In addition to the planned visits detailed in the specification below, the service will include a “call out” provision which will require the contractor to visit site to carry out repairs within the specified timeframe. Note: The Economic Operator will be required to confirm that they are EITHER an approved maintenance provider of the Autoflame Combustion Management System OR if the Economic Operator is not currently an approved Autoflame Combustion Management maintenance provider that they will undertake full training to become one if awarded 'preferred bidder' status, prior to entering into a contract with the University.
