In preparation for the forthcoming re-opening of the day opportunities framework, Essex County Council (‘the Council’) would like to invite prospective providers to attend a market engagement event on 28.11.2019. This event will take place between 9.30 and 12.30 in the St Cedd's Room at the Chapter House, Cathedral Walk, Chelmsford CM1 1NX. During the course of this event, the Council will present details of the scope of the services within the framework, alongside an overview of the tender process and explain how to submit a compliant response via the Council’s e-tendering portal. Please ensure that you confirm your attendance by 17.00 on Friday 22nd November. Prospective candidates are advised that this market engagement event relates to the forthcoming re-opening of the Council's day opportunities framework which incorporated a refresh process which was designed to enable new entrants to the market to apply to join the framework to deliver day opportunities for adults with disabilities/physical or sensory impairments and older people. In addition, existing framework providers will be able to revise the scope of their service offer in relation to the areas of specialism which they can support and the location of their provision as detailed within the previous contract notice for this opportunity: 2018/S 020-041720 and the corresponding tender documentation.
